Landscape Designers in the Caribbean

Having grown up in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) on a farm, it was easy for Andrew Hadley to make the jump from Agriculture to horticulture and landscape gardening.

Andrew was educated in England and having completed his A Levels he then attended The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Having successfully graduated from the RMAS he then served as an Officer in the Duke of Wellington Regiment for 3 years on different postings.

On his return to SVG, he completed an Irrigation course in Israel for the purpose of designing and installing irrigation systems for both farms and gardens. In addition to this he assisted his father, Victor Hadley, in the running and successful development of Hadley Blooms Ltd. The business specialises in the production of Anthuriums and Orchids for the highly demanding cut flower markets in North America, Europe and of course regionally.

After 7 years in the Caribbean Andrew met his French wife, Delphine. They decided to return to Europe and at the age of thirty Andrew discovered a new passion in life, namely the creation of bespoke gardens. He started to work with one of the leading landscape companies of London and learnt the essentials of the trade encompassing planting, pruning and maintenance. Working with construction teams and laying bricks was his first taste of creating gardens and he rapidly built his skills and expertise. Within three years he was promoted to Site Foreman with responsibility for managing all the aspects of garden construction and planting for a broad range of clients.

In 2003, Andrew launched Hadley Gardens and has developed this into a successful business. Based in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Hadley Gardens creates your dream garden, locally as well as regionally throughout the Caribbean.
